Cheryl Cole is considering having her own fashion line.
The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer recently launched a shoe collection with website Stylistpick.com and says she enjoyed it so much, she would be happy to create her own range of clothes.
When asked if she’d like a fashion range, Cheryl told the Guardian newspaper: “Do you know what? I wouldn’t rule it out, actually. I have loved designing these shoes. I haven’t enjoyed a project so much in a long time. So, yes, it might be the start of something.”
While she is often spotted out wearing high heels, the Girls Aloud beauty admits she always carries around a pair of flats so she can give her feet a rest.
She said: “I don’t walk in heels all day. The key with high heels is to take them off any time you have the chance. And I always have a pair of scrunchie flatties with me, so I can change into those. When I was on ‘The X Factor’, I used to walk across the stage and then, as soon as I was sitting down at the judges’ table and my feet were out of shot, I’d kick them off.”
One style of footwear Cheryl would never wear is knee-high boots – because she thinks, at 5ft 3ins, she’s too short to carry them off.
She said: “I’d take ankle boots every time. I think it’s because I’m short, I can’t do a knee boot.”

Cheryl Cole at London Fashion Week

Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts joined Cheryl Cole’s guests at Stylistpick.com’s London Fashion Week party hosted by the former X Factor judge.
Floral prints and opulent silks brightened up catwalks yesterday, as the week-long whirlwind of glamour and glitz featured its last day of womenswear shows.
In the past four days, the fashion extravaganza featured collections by Burberry Prorsum, Vivienne Westwood and Jonathan Saunders among others. Yesterday, Mary Katrantzou, Roksanda Ilincic, Osman, Kinder Aggugini and Amanda Wakeley all launched new collections, which won wide approval.
She may have been launching her shoe collection, but all eyes were in Cheryl Cole’s new high hair ‘do’ last night.
After a disasterous year, Cheryl Cole picked herself up last night and attended the launch of her fashion collaboration with online fashion site Stylistpick.
Hoping to generate as much attention as she can get , the axed X Factor judge piled her hair high into an impossible beehive and wore a bright red satin cut away dress.
She even wore a pair of shoes she had helped design – towering suede studded heels.
There was no sign of former husband Ashley Cole, whom she had reunited with over the summer, but she was joined by Girls Aloud pals Nicola Roberts. She is hoping to follow in Victoria Beckham’s footsteps after her highly successful foray into fashion design.
Stylistpick’s chief creative officer Juliet Warkentin said: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Cheryl. Cheryl is the style icon and is amazingly warm, a quality that has made her the nation’s favourite.
However, despite designing her own shoe collection, Cheryl was unimpressed with the heels she wore last night, tweeting after the event: “Girls..Don’t you just love taking your foot out of a heel and into your slippers..The best! Feels like my feet are having a cuddle.. X”
The shoes will be available on line in December.
